Abstract

This research analyzes how much dance/mouvement therapy would influence on a group of elementary school children's anger expression and self respect. It has been known that dance/mouvement therapy is more or less helpful in treating these problems. dance/mouvement therapy was expected to make suitable anger expression and improve self-respect.
The main results are summarized as follows. First, even though the statistically meaningful evidence was not totally observed in all respects, in some aspects such as anger expression, the result showed that dance/mouvement therapy could reduce the frequency and degree of anger expression considerably. Second, in most aspects of self-respect, it was found that dance/mouvement therapy was helpful to improving children's self respect. On the basis of above results, I claim that dance/mouvement therapy has a significant positive influence in reducing and stabilizing anger and enhancing their self-respect.
